Ulysses S. Grant's Remington Revolver
Grant's matched pair of Remington New Model Army revolvers were battlefield tools — carried through the siege of Vicksburg and into the McLean House at Appomattox Court House on April 9, 1865, the day the Civil War ended. When Grant's personal revolvers appeared at auction in 2024, they shattered records at $5.17 million, a testament to their unmatched place in American history. This 2 oz pure silver coin immortalizes that legacy for collectors of American history and precious metals alike.
