About the Parashu
The Parashu is the divine battle-axe of Lord Shiva, bestowed upon Ganesha as a sacred weapon. According to Hindu legend, when Parashurama hurled the axe at Ganesha, the young god — out of reverence for his father — allowed it to strike him, severing one of his tusks. This is how Ganesha became Ekadanta, the single-tusked deity. In Ganesha's hands, the Parashu symbolizes the destruction of ignorance, ego, and the obstacles that prevent spiritual enlightenment. The bija-mantra inscribed across the blade — (Om Gam Ganapataye Namah) — is among the most sacred prayers in Hindu tradition, chanted to invoke Ganesha's blessings and clear the path forward.

Lord Ganesha
Among the most universally revered deities in Hinduism, Ganesha is the remover of obstacles, patron of wisdom, and harbinger of new beginnings. Before any journey, venture, or prayer, his name is invoked. The striking gold-and-black finish is a deliberate homage to traditional Ganesha statuary — black representing the earthly, gold the divine — faithfully recreated here in precious silver. The sacred mintage of 108 honors one of Hinduism's most significant numbers, representing the 108 names of Ganesha, 108 beads on a mala, and the cosmic completeness of existence.
