Pink Floyd
Formed in London in 1965, Pink Floyd became one of the most innovative and boundary-pushing bands in rock history. Known for their elaborate live shows, concept albums, and genre-defining blend of psychedelic, progressive, and art rock, the band produced some of the best-selling albums of all time — including The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, and The Wall. With founding members Syd Barrett, Roger Waters, David Gilmour, Nick Mason, and Richard Wright, Pink Floyd's music explored themes of conflict, alienation, and the human condition with a depth rarely matched in popular music. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996, their legacy continues to captivate new generations of fans more than half a century after their formation.
