George Washington's Flintlock Pistol
George Washington’s flintlock pistols were finely crafted 18th-century sidearms, symbolizing both his status and leadership during the American Revolutionary War. Often associated with elegant designs like those gifted by Marquis de Lafayette, they represent the craftsmanship and historical legacy of America’s founding era. These pistols were not only functional weapons but also works of art, featuring ornate engravings, polished barrels, and balanced construction typical of high-end gunsmithing of the time. Today, they serve as enduring artifacts of early American history, reflecting both the personal prestige of Washington and the broader story of a nation’s fight for independence. Limited to 1,779 pieces, commemorating the year of the Declaration of Independence, this unique collectible is a must-have for history and coin enthusiasts alike.
