The United States Mint unveiled new reverse designs for the 2021 American Eagle Gold coins and the updated design is continuing into 2022. Mint A.I.P designer Jennie Norris created the new Gold coin design featuring the American Eagle, which was then sculpted by Mint Medallic Artist Renata Gordon. The obverse has also been revised with additional details from the original design by Augustus Saint-Gaudens to enhance this classic image.
